EDITOR–Five years ago, thousands of people gathered in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol on Saturday to protest against the country’s bullfighting tradition. Several hundred activists came from across Spain to participate in the demo which was organised by the Spanish animal rights political party, PACMA. Protesters held up handkerchiefs similar to those used in the San Fermin festivities in Pamplona, which include a bull run and bullfight.

GARLAND NIXON—Being suddenly denied access to his account on Twitter, and seeing his timeline scrubbed and in complete disorder, Garland suspects foul play and underhanded censorship by Twitter. Garand details the many and obvious reasons why the Twitter request to verify his account “obsessively” is probably fraudulent and dishonest as he has maintained the same identifying data for over a decade.
