Let us compare the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York with the Israeli attack on Gaza. Then 3,000 civilians were killed, now we have 10,000 civilians killed including about 4,000 children. The US reacted to the 9/11 attack with a war against Iraq (while most of the 9/11 perpetrators came from Saudi-Arabia). Now the attackers are seen as defenders of their country. Where is the logic?
The news very clearly shows the motives for the human cleansing of Gaza. It is not even the destruction of Hamas, which is a diversion, but Israel needs the land, the territory with all its offshore mineral riches and access to the sea. Equally Ukraine tried to cleanse Eastern Ukraine from its Russian-speaking citizens, because the heavy industry of Ukraine is concentrated there. Imperial greed is at the basis of conquest, and the human element does not count at all.
